‘Guts and Glory’ Switch Patch Released!

The long wait is finally over… Guts & Glory on the Nintendo Switch has been patched!

After months of difficulties and hard work, the porting team at tinyBuild has finished the Switch patch. This brings massive performance improvements over the old version. Load times on even the largest, most demanding levels are much, much faster, and gameplay overall is smoother.

What the porting guys have accomplished is nothing short of a miracle, given the strict patch file size requirements from Nintendo, not to mention the challenge of working with a project built by a gamedev noob like myself. I knew bringing a physics-intensive game like this to the Switch would be a challenge, but I don’t think any one anticipated it being this difficult. Nevertheless, they accomplished the impossible and it’s here at last.

THANK YOU to everyone for your patience and understanding. I’m very sorry about the long wait, and I hope to some day find a way to make it up to you in a future title. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy playing G&G on the go with your Nintendo Switch!
