Team work makes the dream work! (omg, did I really just say that?)

Things are off to a great start! We kicked off August with a Studio Launch Meeting. Fueled by caffeine and dreams, we spent hours excitedly discussing ideas, sharing sketches, and planning out our work. It’s amazing just how many tasks it takes to create a game and how complicated things can quickly become when trying to coordinate the work of just 5 people together. But all that work paid off and we’ve got a nice roadmap laid out ahead of us.

After all that hard work, we celebrated and got things off to a good start with some high speed go kart races at Fast Lane in Meridian. Those machines go well over 40 mph so it was pretty intense!

We can’t share anything about our new project yet, so I just thought I’d share the excitement. Working with a team is a dream come true. We can finally realize bigger, better projects together than we could accomplish on our own. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to work with such talented people. Bouncing ideas off of others that share your passion, then watching those ideas become a reality at an accelerated rate is exhilarating.

Plus, they know how to make good memes….

The project we’re working on is very ambitious. It pushes some technical limits that presented unique challenges for us. We’re still working on it, but pre-production tests and prototypes have proven to be very promising. Now I’m stupidly excited to see where all of this takes us!

Fortunately, some of the biggest technical worries I had about this project are gone now, leaving us to focus more on crafting a fun and unique experience for y’all to enjoy. We’ve got lots in store and we’re trying to not let the excitement carry our scope away either… which is tough for a game like this.

Let’s just say this game is gonna be very… different.

More to come!
